There is NO customer parking available on the COA campus.
From our dock, we are a 10 minute stroll from free all day parking at the end of West Street. Walk, bike, or take the free Island Explorer bus onto campus (South Entrance), then follow signs to Turrets building/Schoodic Ferry, and proceed down the gravel drive to the dock.
Docking at the College of the Atlantic offers direct access to Acadia National Park and its hiking and biking trails, George B Dorr Museum of Natural History and their family friendly touch tank, access to Diver Ed’s Underwater Dive-In Theatre, and Acadian Boat Tours. The dock is a short walk or bus ride to shops and dining.

From Route 186, turn onto Sargent Street, then follow the signs for Schoodic Marine Center and Ferry Services.
From the Schoodic Marine Center, you can catch the Island Explorer bus and head right into Acadia National Park’s Schoodic Peninsula, walk into town to visit artisan galleries and local restaurants and shops, rent a bike right at our ticket booth from Seascape Kayak and Bike (or bring your own), and check out 8.3 miles of new carriage trails for family friendly biking.
